i replaced my thema turbo with koni sport amortisseurs, best performance, feeling and security. the car is more dinamic. if you dont mind sacrifice confort, this is the best solution with original springs. it is also hard tbaj the electric suspension control that i have before in sport mode

eibach and apex have also springs for this model and could be an interesant option, to get an extra.

Many drivers changed their electric springs for only sports ones ! Lower cost !
Too bad, I thing, I have electronic springs on my Alfa 164 Qv (164 S for US market place), and I love it very much.

Psal: je pense que c'est un Anglais car Eibach et Apex ne doivent pas être très répandu aux States...

Jean Mi: va voir sur le site pièces auto tuning (dans la boutique tuning) ils vendent souvent (je ne sais pas si c'est le cas pour une Thema) les amortos JR (français de Houdain dans le Nord) en version tourisme avec une tige plus grosse et un tarage plus ferme et tu conserves tes ressorts d'origine... attention cependant il existe 2 gammes JR, celles où tu rabaisses en changeant tes ressorts et celles où tu raffermies en conservant des ressorts!

In the US markey place and english spoken too, The 164 are called :
164 : our 3,0l V6 in base option
164 L : our 3,0l V6 in luxe option
164 S : our Qv
L for Luxe
S for sport

For 164 after 1994
164 LS : our V6 super
and Q : our Q4

Maybe it's the same in spain ! I don't know but I don't think so !!!

Because there were trouble between France and US, I was throught of an american forum for 164 only by some really stupid guys last year ! So I know a lot of 164 in many countries. It ws a different time anyway !!!

I think it's the same in Spain than US!!! Spain is in Europe!!! I think it's was just a manoeuvre from you to show us that you speak very well in English and you know a lot of people (with 164!!!) all around the world, isn't it???

i had automatic suspension control and even in sport model the feeling is so much soft specially at high speed when i broke front left shock absorber i ask for replace it, but i must install as less as two to obtain a good result. the worst is the price of the bogue sochs absorbers (abou 400 e / u ) so i decided to install koni sport for with manual regulation for the half.

you can buy online apex, eibach, koni and a lot of brands out of france just need found a good installer

For the automatic suspension, I confirme that in auto mode, it's a little soft and in sport mode, a little too hard !
But my car has 245 000 kms ans 13 years old !

Be careful: if the suspension is too hard, you can break the body, generally near the points of 'fixation' of the shocks absorbers.

moi jvien de changer les miens sur ma delta je met les fotos dans deux minutes sur mon topic a ce propos, des ressort apex cours et des amortos a tige courte courts ultimate et barre anti rapprochement sparco, le seul propbleme maintenant c'est les pneux qui suivent plus
tres bon et c'est le meilleur rapport qualite/prix que j'ai pu trouver!
